We got tired of waiting
for dashboards to load.

CoreCast AI started with a simple frustration. It grew into a platform used by 340 engineering teams worldwide.

How we got here

In 2021, Marcus Chen was running data infrastructure at a fintech company. His team spent six months building a real-time analytics pipeline, only to watch it collapse under production load. The tooling available at the time — batch-first systems with real-time bolted on — simply wasn't designed for the volumes they were dealing with.

He called Sarah Kim, who had just finished two years as chief architect on Databricks' streaming team. They spent three months whiteboarding in Marcus's apartment in the Mission District. The insight that drove everything: real-time analytics isn't a feature you add to a batch system. It requires rethinking the storage and query engine from the ground up.

CoreCast AI incorporated in January 2022. By June 2022, the first version of the query engine was running 10x faster than anything on the market. The first customer — a payments startup — signed up after a 30-minute demo. They're still a customer today.

Today, CoreCast processes over 840 billion events daily across 340+ enterprise customers. We've grown to a team of 68 people, with offices in San Francisco and London. We raised our Series B in March 2025 and are focused on one thing: making real-time analytics feel as simple and reliable as running a SELECT statement.

The values we build by

Speed is a feature

A slow query isn't just annoying — it breaks the analytical flow. Every millisecond we shave off is a decision made faster.

Engineers first

We build for the people who actually use data day to day. No sales theater, no opaque black boxes. SQL in, results out.

Honest pricing

You pay for what you use. We don't hide costs behind consultant fees or force you into multi-year contracts to get a fair price.

Security by default

Compliance shouldn't be a checkbox exercise. Our security model is built into the product, not layered on top of it.

Building the data layer for the next decade

The shift from batch to real-time is still in its early stages. Most enterprises are running systems designed for a world where latency was measured in hours. We're here to change that.

Our roadmap includes deeper AI integration, expanded federation capabilities, and the industry's first sub-millisecond analytics tier. We're not trying to be everything to everyone — we're trying to be the best possible platform for engineering teams that need fast, reliable answers from their data.
