Common questions

How does billing work? Monthly or annual?
Both options are available. Monthly billing gives you flexibility - no commitment required. Annual billing is billed upfront and includes a 20% discount. You can switch between billing cycles at any renewal date.
What counts as a memory?
A memory is a single stored fact, preference, event, or interaction extracted from an agent conversation. CoreCast's auto-compaction feature summarizes long conversations to keep memory counts efficient. The Builder tier includes 10K memories, which is typically enough for a few hundred active users during prototyping.
Can I export or migrate my data?
Yes. Full data portability is a core principle at CoreCast. You can export all memories via the REST API or SDK at any time. Enterprise customers also have access to bulk export tools and can arrange direct database snapshots. You own your data - we just store it.
Is self-hosting available, and how does it work?
Self-hosting is available on Enterprise plans. You deploy CoreCast inside your own VPC using our container images and Helm chart. Your data never leaves your infrastructure. We provide installation support, ongoing updates, and dedicated assistance for the self-hosted deployment.
What does SOC 2 Type II certification cover?
Our SOC 2 Type II report covers security, availability, and confidentiality trust service criteria. It is audited annually by an independent third-party auditor. Pro and Enterprise customers can request the full report under NDA. A summary is available to any customer upon request.
What happens if I cancel? Do I lose my memories?
If you cancel a paid plan, your account downgrades to Builder (free) tier. Memories exceeding the 10K free limit are archived and retained for 90 days. You can reactivate your plan within that window to restore access immediately. After 90 days, archived memories are permanently deleted following a final notification.
